Includes personal and professional correspondence of a landscape architect including correspondence with Milwaukee politicians, Daniel Hoan, Emil Seidel, and Frank Zeidler, and correspondence with and reports and printed material from various Wisconsin Railroads. Also included are general business records from Bubbert (1926-1971); minutes, reports, budgets, especially relating to controversy between the Milwaukee Public Museum and Bubbert (1946-1971); material from the Museum Centennial Group including financial records, news releases, correspondence, and promotional material (1946-1962); photographs of the Frank, Ehler, Buech, Niebour, and Bubbert families (1890-1960), photographs taken in Europe by Frank Wermke (ca. 1919), photographs of railroads, landscape and conservation, and photographs from Museum Centennial Group. The collection contains coursework from Bubbert (1925-1930) at the University of Wisconsin and Bubbert family papers which include correspondence of Edgar, Emma Martha Gustav and Walter Bubbert. Emma Martha Bubbert legal papers including business records. Gustav Bubbert papers include financial records and his death certificate. A Funeral Book for Walter Bubbert (1971) and correspondence, clippings, and the death certificate of Frank Wermek are also included.
